Get up close with the world’s largest land mammals at Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Established in 1975 to rescue orphaned elephants, it now houses around to 40+ elephants, ranging from newborns to elderly matriarchs. Participate in feeding baby elephants during your visit and watch them playfully bathe in the May Oya river.
Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya
